Alasdair Younie

Alasdair Younie joined the ICM Group in 2010 and is a Director and Chief Executive Officer of ICM Limited, based in Bermuda. In this role, Alasdair provides strategic leadership across the Group, overseeing corporate development, capital allocation, investor relations and the execution of long-term growth initiatives. He has played a central role in shaping ICM’s strategic direction, strengthening its portfolio of listed investments and driving value creation across the Group.

 

Alasdair is also responsible for the day-to-day management of Somers Limited, where he works closely with the Board and portfolio companies to identify and realise strategic opportunities. Prior to joining ICM, Alasdair qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and spent six years in the corporate finance division of Arbuthnot Securities Limited in London, advising on mergers and acquisitions, capital raisings and other strategic transactions.

 

Alasdair serves as a Non-Executive Director of Somers Limited, Corehealth Technologies Inc. and West Hamilton Holdings Limited. He graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Economics and Economic History in 1998 and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
